Gross Polyps
Small Polyp obstructing the sinuses
- Nasal Polyps are edematous prolapsed nasal mucosa.
- This is commonly due to allergy and/or infection.
- The other causes are tumors (inverted Papilloma or olfactory neuroblastoma) or fungal sinusitis.
- Poylps can be obstructing the sinuses or prolapse and almost protruding from the nose.
