Allergy - Prick Test
Comprehensive allergy management system is available in the clinic.
Diagnostic skin prick test (S.P.T.) for aero-allergen allergies for the 8 common aero-allergens are routinely done.
Modified RAST test (blood sample taken and IgE specific antibodies to the various allergens are measured).
Both tests are accurate when carefully chosen.
Which test to use depends on clinical situation, i.e. patients skin condition and whether anti-histamines are used.
Blood tests for food allergies and sensitivities also available.
